The town of sumo and Hokusai: Ryogoku, Sumida

Ryogoku is where Edo culture lives on, home to the Ryogoku Kokugikan sumo arena, Ekoin Temple, Kyu-Yasuda Garden and the Sumida Hokusai Museum. Chanko hot-pot restaurants line the streets, and Asakusabashi and Nihonbashi are just across the Sumida River. The Toei Oedo Line runs straight to Roppongi and Shinjuku, and the JR Sobu Line to Akihabara and Tokyo.
